Dealing with a large blank wall in my dining room today as Dad has borrowed this painting for an exhibit of his work at the Grand Manan Art Gallery opening this Saturday. It's an early piece from 1966; very graphic and stylized and quite different from the seascapes he's been focusing on for the past 30 years or so. My mother is threatening to keep this piece after the show closes so let's hope we don't end up with art in dispute!
